Solidarity Needed With Ryan Roberts

Ryan Roberts was inprisoned following the police crackdown on 'Kill The Bill' protests. He was given one of the longest prison sentences of anyone arrested during them.

Recently an electrical fault caused a fire in his cell and he lost nearly all of his possessions. In addition to this Ryan has been moved to a new prison, something often done to break social connections or attempt to quiet more rebellious prisoners.

Ryan needs the support of those of us on the outside more than ever. If you can spare some money, or put on an event to raise some, please donate it via chuffed. The hope is that enough can be raised to replace Ryan's laptop, clothes, and other essentials. If you don't have any money yourself, you can share the link with those that might do.

Currently Ryan's emails are hard to access, and post often addressed to his prior prison may be lost in bureaucracy for months - or forever. So please sent a letter or postcard, or card to the address below. If you've not written to Ryan, or any prisoner before, don't fret, even a short and simple message of solidarity will be appreciated.
